On-line Commuter Rewards Program - Nuride
 The North Shore TMA partners with MassDOT, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, to offer NuRide, a state-of-the-art, on-line ride matching and alternative commute tracking system, it is the nation's largest rewards program for commuters who rideshare, track alternative commutes/modes, while earning NuRide points to redeem for great prizes.
NuRide is the nation's largest rewards program for commuters who take greener trips. A greener trip is when you don't drive solo and instead choose an alternative mode – bike, walk, carpool, vanpool, telecommute, take public transit (subway, train, bus, ferry) or even work a compressed week. NuRide allows commuters to:
- Earn 1,000 NuRide points for signing up – use promo code NorthShoreTMA during sign-up/registration
- Track your greener trips or alternative modes of transportation

- Redeem your NuRide points for rewards

The Guaranteed Ride Home Program, ensures employees participating in a ridesharing arrangement (carpool, vanpool, commuter bus, etc.) that if there is an emergency, transportation will be provided—thus alleviating the fear of being stranded and continuing the success of the ridesharing arrangement.
